Brief History

During the year 2014, a group of 13 Naval veteran stalwarts based at Trivandrum joined together with an idea to form an unofficial welfare group namely “Trivandrum Naval veterans’ Forum (TNVF)”. Initial assembly was at founder Secretary Sri. NS Anil Kumar’s home as the ‘den’ and subsequently Museum, Poojappura ground and the houses of other members became the venue for our meetings at regular intervals. Subsequently, it was registered as a welfare society under Kerala Society Act in March 2018 and thus Indian Naval Veteran's Society(INVeS)” formally came into existence.

  • We are also looking forward to setting up a social and collective living space, where our members can live in a retirement community set up. . The space shall have all modern amenities suitable for both young and the old.

  • We also have plans to conduct frequent medical camps for our members and their families in association with major hospitals at Trivandrum

  • A coaching center for defense job aspirants and a guidance center for competitive exams is another project we have in mind utilizing the talents within our organization thus generating employment opportunities for our members and dependents.
